Metabolic Research
Retatrutide
Retatrutide is a synthetic peptide studied for coordinated activation of three metabolic hormone receptors, with human research examining glucose regulation, appetite, body weight and liver fat.
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide studied for growth hormone secretion and gastrointestinal motility, with early human physiology work and a postoperative-ileus trial.

Ghrelin-receptor agonist
Ipamorelin is a five-residue synthetic peptide containing non-natural amino-acid elements. It belongs to the growth hormone secretagogue family rather than the GHRH-fragment family. Its identity and pharmacology should not be substituted for those of GHRP-2, GHRP-6, or a blend that also contains a GHRH analogue.
This reference describes the published literature. Exact supplied form and chemical specifications require product-specific documentation. The studies are linked in Selected literature.
Ipamorelin acts through the ghrelin-receptor system to stimulate GH release. The initial pharmacology paper compared pituitary-cell responses and animal endocrine effects. Its often-cited selectivity observation concerned relatively limited ACTH and cortisol responses in the tested animal models; that does not establish an absence of off-target effects in every human setting.
Rat pituitary-cell experiments and studies in rats and swine characterized GH-releasing activity. Comparisons with other secretagogues helped separate GH secretion from measured stress-axis responses. The species and measured hormones are important qualifications to the word selective. [1]
A healthy-volunteer study modeled ipamorelin concentrations and the resulting GH response. It demonstrated a transient hormone-release episode and substantial variation between individuals. Such pharmacodynamic measurements do not establish sustained changes in strength, body composition, or recovery. [2]
A randomized phase-2 study examined recovery after bowel resection. The difference in its principal meal-tolerance endpoint was not statistically significant. This negative primary result should remain visible when gastrointestinal activity is discussed. [3]
Study topics describe the cited models, not established benefits of this catalog material.
Ipamorelin has both preclinical and human evidence, but the designs address different questions. Early endocrine responses support biological activity; the postoperative study did not clearly establish efficacy on its key endpoint. Neither result validates a general wellness application or a combination product.
Study formulation, population, and outcome choice limit transferability. Animal selectivity cannot be converted into a blanket human-safety claim, and a GH response cannot stand in for clinical benefit. The literature provides no verification of the identity, purity, or batch documentation of the WYZ Labs listing.
Primary studies and clearly identified supporting sources. Each link opens the original record.
Original pentapeptide pharmacology; ACTH/cortisol selectivity findings were established in animal experiments.
Healthy-volunteer endocrine kinetics; not a long-term efficacy study.
Randomized phase-2 trial; primary meal-tolerance comparison was not statistically significant.
